Great North Road Interchange

Wilson Precast played a key role in the delivery of the Great North Road Interchange, a major component of Auckland’s Western Ring Route. Completed in 2015 for the Well Connected Alliance and NZTA, the project comprised four overbridge ramps connecting traffic from the Waterview Tunnels and West Auckland through to the city.

Wilson Precast manufactured and supplied 296 × 1,525mm-deep Super Tee bridge beams, each weighing more than 65 tonnes. The scale of the project required careful coordination across manufacturing, transport, and installation to meet demanding programme and logistical requirements.
